<p>Four youths were killed on the spot and four others sustained severe injuries when a sand-laden tractor in which they were travelling collided head-on with a Bijapur-bound lorry on Hubli-Sholapur highway, near Hallikeri Maddi in the taluk on Wednesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The dead are Davalsaab Mehboobsaab Savatagi, 25, Davalsaab Imamsaab, Ugaragola, 22, Davalsaab Hussain Saab Mulgunda, 20 and Vinoda Venkatesha Mulimani, 20. <br /><br />The injured are Imamsaab Kushtagi of Horakeri Oni, Vijaykumar Mulimani, Daval Saab Koti and Kashinatha Shinde and they have been admitted to the KIMS Hospital in Hubli. <br /><br />The youth were transporting the sand from Gulagadi in Ron Taluk. <br /></p>
