Volvo to launch its new car in India by year-end

Luxury car manufacturer Volvo would launch its new car in India by end of March 2013. The car ‘V40-Cross Country,’ is already on road in Frankfurt and would hit the Indian market,  Volvo India Managing Director Tomas Ernburg, said.

Though the company has to fix the price for Indian market, the car’s price could be around Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai). The company hopes to enhance market share to 3 per cent from 1 per cent by the year.
