Tackling tough roles

Currently focusing on two projects, this lass, who was also seen in Love Guru, is mighty excited.

“The first film I am working on is Kari Chirathe with Duniya Vijay, where I will be playing one of the lead roles. Sharmila Mandre is playing the other lead in the film, but her portions will be in the second half of the movie. My part will be featured in the first half of the film,” says Yagna. While Vijay has undergone an entire make-over for the film, Yagna, too says that she will be seen in a glamourous role for this one. “I will be donning a modern look for the first time and I am looking forward on how the audience will accept me in that,” she adds.
 The second movie, Sugreeva, she says, is very challenging. “In this film, I will be playing Shivarajkumar’s wife. It’s an emotional character and a performance-oriented role. Since we are aiming to shoot this film in 18 hours, it will be a real challenge for me as an actress,” she explains.

Things don’t end here. It is said that there are a lot more offers she is getting but she will sign them only after these two projects are completed. MS
