CM to visit Kodagu on Dec 18

Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar will visit Kodagu district on December 18 and will lay foundation for various development work, said Deputy Commissioner Dr N V Prasad.

Speaking at a preparatory meeting here on Tuesday, he said the CM will inaugurate Koodige Sainik School building and building of Kushalnagar Engineering College.
He will lay foundation for the UGD work, private bus stand and other development work.

He will take part in the investors meeting in Madikeri and will inaugurate RTO office.
In Aloor Siddapura, the CM will lay foundation for boys hostel, 66.11 kv sub station, rural stadium, Samskrithika Bhavana, Gram Panchayat building, ITI staff quarters, and facilities for tourists at Malemalleshwara Betta.

The quarters of forest guards and concrete lining of Doddayyanakere canal will also be inaugurated.

Superintendent of Police Manjunath Annigeri said that temporary helipad will be set up at Gondi Basavanahalli near Kushalnagar, Golf Maidan in Madikeri and at Siddapura.
Additional DC Dr N Shivashankara, Assistant Commissioner G Prabhu, Commissioner N M Shashikumar and others were present.
