China asked to stop construction work in Pakistani Kashmir

India has conveyed its concerns to China about its involvement in executing projects in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and asked Beijing to cease such activities.

Minister of State for External Affairs E.Ahamed stated this Thu7rsday in the Rajya Sabha in reply to a question.

"The government is aware that China and Pakistan are executing projects in Indian territory under their illegal occupation. Government has conveyed its concerns to China about their activities in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, and asked them to cease such activities."

“The government keeps constant watch on all developments having a bearing on India's security and takes all necessary measures to safeguard it," Ahamed said.
