The Lokayukta, Revenue Department officials and Mamoor Welfare Trust, KHB Colony, Koramangala have jointly brought slumdwellers and beggars under various benefits of government schemes.
They have identified the second largest slum in Koramangala and made several visits on weekends for nearly a month to collect the required data.
They also collected data on beggars outside temples, churches and mosques and prepared a list of 400 beneficiaries who are eligible for benefits under schemes for the welfare of disabled and senior citizens above 65 years.
