<p>R Francis, PSI with Electronic City police station was caught redhanded while taking bribe from an auto driver, and was suspended on Saturday.<br /><br />Sources said, two autorickshaws were moving on Hosur Road, an autoricksaw was being towed by another on Kudlo -Singasandra Main Road. While switching to service Road, they rammed into a motorcycle, injuring the rider. Both the autos were seized. To release the vehicle, Francis demanded Rs 12,000 from autro drivers and was caught red handed while collecting Rs 9,500 as advance. <br /><br />Succumbs<br />A woman from Hoskote, who was assaulted by her husband succumbed at Hosmat Hospital in Bangalore on Friday. <br /><br />Dhanalakshmi (28) was hit on her neck and hands with a matchet by her husband Gopinath (38) of Lakkasandra suspecting her fidelity. He has been arrested.</p>
