Walk-in interviews for apprenticeship training from Oct 14

The schedule of interviews to be held at Chemical Block, Government SJ Polytechnic, K R Circle is as follows:
Civil, architecture, computer science, chemical engineering and information science and environmental engineering on October 14 from 10 am to 1.30 pm for BE holders and 2 pm to for diploma holders.

Mechanical, industrial production, automatic engineering, mining and mine surveying, metallurgy, industrial mining and other branches related to the mechanical engineering on October 15 from 10 am to 1.30 pm from BE holders and 2 pm to 5.30 pm for diploma holders.

Electrical and electronics, electronics and communication engineering, telecommunication engineering, instrument technology, library science and all other remaining course on October 16 from 10 am to 1.30 pm for BE holders and 2 pm to 5.30 pm for diploma holders.

Only Karnataka candidates who have passed on or after August 2006 or later examinations are eligible. Candidates while attending the interview should produce their original SSLC diploma/BE marks cards with provisional certificates.
During the training period a stipend of Rs 2,600 for BE graduates and Rs 1,850 for diploma holders will be paid for the apprenticeship trainee. Duration of the training is 12 months.

This training is as per the government of India Apprenticeship (Amendment Act 1973), according to a press note from the Joint Director (ATS),  Department of Technical Education.
