'Govt's inaction led to Naxalism in State'

. Speaking to presspersons, he said Naxals are not so strong in Karnataka unlike Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Andra Pradesh. Police alone can not contain Naxals. Along with police force, basic infrastructures must be provided to the Naxal infested areas. With will power everything is possible. Naxal issue is a social and economic problem. By containing them, no reforms can be achieved.”  Central government is contemplating several programmes with respect to the food, education and employment security. The schemes will be placed before the Parliament in the next session.

Congress will come to power in Maharashtra, Arunachala Pradesh and Haryana, he predicted.
