<p>A release issued by the State run corporation, here on Tuesday said 800 extra buses have been pressed into service to meet the additional passenger rush, expected for Deepavali. <br />Buses for the festival will operate from Kempegowda Bus Station (KBS) to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shimoga, Hassan, Davangere, Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Bijapur, Raichur, Gulbarga, Bellary and Tirupati among other places.<br /><br />Special buses will also operate from the Mysore Road, satellite bus station and Shanthi Nagar BMTC bus station towards Mysore, Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagara, Madikeri and Tamil Nadu.<br /><br />Buses to North-West and North-East Karnataka are also being introduced for the festival season. <br /><br />Advance reservation facilities through computerised tickets can be done through, www.ksrtc.in. <br /><br />A discount of five percent on advanced group booking of four or more passengers is being offered by KSRTC, on this occasion.</p>
