Tulu classes start in Udupi

 
Speaking at the inaugural function of the class, Karnataka Tulu Sahithya Academy President Dr Palthadi Ramakrishna Achar said that language plays a crucial role in cultural expansion.

Language improves knowledge and familiarity with local languages help one to get acquainted with the traditional and cultural aspects of the region, he said.

“Tulu should be supported in all possible ways. Attempts should be made to introduce the language in government offices”, said Udupi Tulu Koota President Dr Bhaskarananda Kumar in his inaugural address.

Karnataka Tulu Sahithya Academy Member Dr Padmanabha Kekunnaya, Registrar Chandrahas Rai, Delhi Tulu Development Association President Vasanth Shetty and others were present.
