It's time to have fun

Spandan 2012-13, the annual day of Sindhi College, was recently conducted on its Hebbal
campus.

The tagline for the day was ‘Masti (fun) never stops’, which was exactly what the students and staff ensured. 

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp. The annual report of the college was then presented by principal Prakash Nayak, where the contributions of the committee members and lecturers to the education of the student community was highlighted.

Students who brought laurels to the college in various inter-collegiate competitions in the previous year were felicitated, which brought in a new sense of inspiration to all the other students.
“Each year, during our annual day, we Sindhians have a great time and display our best talents in front of our parents, teachers and friends. The crowd was very supportive of each and every performer who took the stage, which is encouraging to see,” notes Parikshit Mukesh, a student.

After the formalities were done, the cultural programmes ensued, which saw students showcasing their talents in various fields like dance, beat-boxing and singing, among others.

There was also a fashion show with flashy lights and trendy styles displayed. 

“We Sindhians took time off from our studies to put an extraordinary show together and I can safely say that it rocked! Students of both PUC and degree participated and the fun-filled environment was really nice,” shares Thrupti K, one of the organisers. “I liked the beat-boxing by Shanshank and team the best!” she adds.

The vibe at Sindhi College was truly one of jubilation and good cheer.

“It was a matter of pride to watch all the delightful performances and see so many new faces show off hitherto undiscovered talents. It was a day that will always be cherished by all the proud Sindhians,” wraps up Syed Kamran, another student of the college.
