The High Court of Karnataka on Wednesday directed the State government to explain the delay in shifting the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar in the precincts of Vidhana Soudha for facilitating the Metro work.
The Court had directed the government to shift the statue temporarily till the completion of the work.
The Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice K Sreedhar Rao and Justice Abdul Nazeer adjourned the matter to February 18.
