<p>A tigress, supposed to be pregnant, was found dead near Annur Hosahalli under Sollepura social forests in the taluk on Sunday. The corpse of a cow has also been found near the spot.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The tigress is said to be a five years old. A special team from Project Tiger is camping near the spot where the tigress was found dead.<br /><br />Metikuppe range forest officer Poovaiah, social forestry RFOs Mohan Kumar and Madhusudan and Forest department personnel visited the spot. The officers said the autopsy would be performed on Monday.</p>
