JOIN USSpeaking to the media persons here on Monday, Founder President of the Committee Shanthiparasad Shetty accused the University of torturing the students who have applied for revaluation by announcing the results just a couple of days before the commencement of examinations. The University is following the procedure for the last 10 to 12 years. Cancellation of the students representative post in the Senate has made the students voiceless in the University affairs.
Also, the certificates issued by the University should be computerised instead of the handwritten pattern, he demanded.

Sharath Kumar, a student of Vidyanikethan College at Kaup, was elected the District President at an election. Roshan Shetty from Bhandarkar’s College at Kundapura, is the Working President while Reshma from Ajjarkadu Women’s First Grade College, Megha Bhat from Thenkanidiyur First Grade College and Supriya Shetty from S V T College, Karkala were elected as women representatives of the Committee.
