“We have sent the bag to FSL. It may take couple of days to receive the report. Things will be clear once the report is available,” City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari told mediapersons.
Chaos and tension had reigned at the Chinnaswamy Stadium when an explosive detecting equipment started giving indication of some explosive in a bag in room number 105 of the KSCA Clubhouse.
A J&K team cricketer Pervez Rasool was occupying the room.
The police questioned him besides securing the bag for a test.
It is said that the equipment started sending beep indications due to a technical snag. The police denied having secured Rasool for eight hours for questioning.
