<p>A quality control manager of Food Corporation of India (FCI) has been arrested by CBI sleuths from neighbouring Bhandara district for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 from a trader.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Accused Sanjeev Shamrao Desale demanded the sum allegedly from Purushottam Durugkar for certification of rice supplied by him as per the specification.<br /><br />Desale was deputed from the office of General Manger FCI, Mumbai for a period of 89 days for certification of rice quality in various districts in Maharashtra at the time of rice procurement.<br /><br />The accused was arrested in Tumsar last evening, the anti-corruption unit of the CBI said in a release.</p>
