Fee refund for Anglo-Indian students

The process of fee reimbursement (Rs 5,000 per year) for Anglo-Indian PU students for the current academic year 2012-13 has commenced. 

Derrick M B Fullinfaw, MLA, said in a statement here on Monday that the fee reimbursement claim form can be obtained either by downloading it from the www.puc.kar.nic.in, or by contacting him on 9844352718/9845416167. 

The filled-in forms should be submitted to the respective colleges on or before March 10. About 200 to 250 Anglo-Indian families in the State would benefit by the reimbursement.
 The financial support would help students to take up higher education, as almost 50 per cent of them are from poor families, Fullinfaw said.
