A class 8 student of a private school in Haryana’s Sonepat was killed allegedly by two of his classmates, after he had asked one of them to return his cell phone, police said on Monday.
Shubham, 14, had lent his mobile phone to one of the suspects and when he insisted on getting it back, he was asked to come to the school’s backyard on Friday to collect it, said superintendent of police Arun Nehra.
Shubham was then strangled to death by the suspects, said Nehra. The two suspects confessed to have committed the crime, he said.
