<p>Techie crushed to death<br /><br /></p>.<p>A software engineer, who attempted to board a moving City bus, was crushed under the wheels of the vehicle near Chikkasannehalli Gate on Tuesday morning.<br /><br />Jalasri, 27, used to take a bus from Devanahalli to Corporation Circle from where company transport was available.<br /><br />On Tuesday, she was late in leaving her house and her father dropped her off at the bus stop.<br /><br />However, by the time she reached the bus stop, the bus had started moving. In an attempt to board the vehicle, Jalasri lost her balance and fell down.<br /><br />Run over<br /><br />She was crushed under the rear wheels of the bus.<br /><br />The body was shifted to the government hospital in Devanahalli where an autopsy was performed.<br /><br />The driver of the bus has been arrested. Devanahalli traffic police have registered a case.<br /><br /><br /><br />Two arrested for selling ganja<br /><br />Bangalore: Sleuths from the Woman and Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch have arrested two men for selling ganja.<br /><br />The arrested have been identified as Zakir, 32, and Ghouse, 42, from Kolar. Police seized 1.65 kg of the contraband and an autorickshaw from the arrested.<br /><br />The arrests were made during a raid on a premises on Naganathapura Main Road, Parappana Agrahara. <br /><br />One more person, Sadananda, also involved in peddling drugs, escaped during the operation, police said.A case has been registered at Parappana Agrahara police station.<br /></p>
