No fan symbol for BSR Cong

 The High Court has refused to allocate the symbol of fan to BSR Congress for the forthcoming local body polls.

Hearing a petition by the party, Justice A S Bopanna refused them the symbol, stating that the election process has already begun.

However, the court said that the candidates who have been issued ‘C’ and ‘D’ forms by BSR Congress be treated as candidates of that party. The State Election Commission, during the he- aring, contended that it cannot give the symbol as per the notification of the Election Commission of India.
