United Breweries raises $45 m

UB group company raised $45 million in January this year via external commercial borrowings (ECBs) in two tranches of $20 million and $25 million through the automatic route, according to data released by the RBI on Friday.

While $20 million were raised for “import of capital goods” with a tenor of 3 years, the balance amount was raised for “new project” with a tenor of 6.1 years.
