A homemaker allegedly killed her daughter and hanged herself at their house in Peenya area on Monday. Soumya, 25, and her daughter Yashaswini, were residents of Bagalgunte.
Soumya was married to Prashanth, a Tempo Traveller driver, seven years ago. The couple quarreled often and on Sunday night, they fought over a petty issue, police said.
Prashanth left for work the next day morning. When Soumya did not open the door for several hours, neighbours grew suspicious and peeped through the window only to find two bodies hanging from a ceiling fan.
