EVMs used for the first time in ULB polls

 The State Election Commission till late in the evening was updating the polling percentage from 30 districts and seven city corporations.

The final polling percentage will be available is expected to be available on Friday. Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were used for the first time in the ULB elections in the State.

The following is the polling percentage in city corporations and town municipal councils:

Mysore: 52; Mangalore: 63.33; Hubli and Dharwad: 66; Belgaum: 54; Gulbarga: 51; Bellary: 62.06; Davangere: 67.44

TMCs

Bangalore Urban: 76.14; Bangalore Rural: 76.70; Ramanagar: 73.78; Chitradurga: 72.48; Davangere: 74.43; Kolar: 71.83; Chikkaballapur: 72.04; Shimoga: 72.10; Tumkur: 80.43; Mysore: 71; Chamarajnagar: 78.25; Chikkamagalur: 76.5; Dakshina Kannada: 66.24; Udupi: 75; Hassan: 77.28; Mandya: 69.36; Kodagu: 76.35; Belgaum: 65; Bijapur: 72; Bagalkote: 64; Dharwad: 78; Gadag: 65; Haveri: 72.13; Uttara Kannada: 69.02; Bellary: 71.58; Bidar: 63.2; Gulbarga:63; Yadgir: 62.56; Raichur:65.84; Koppal: 72.24.
