Munjanath, a resident of Belluru village in the Kolar taluk was bludgeoned to death near a bar in Mulbagal two months ago.
The police who suspected an illegitimate relationship behind murder, rounded up Vishwanath, a resident of Hosapalya in the town from Clock Tower area in Kolar and has remanded him to judicial custody.
The team lead by Kolar SP K P Puttaswamy and Additional SP Phaneendra Singh has solved the case. The other members are Mulbagal DySP Rajanna, Circle Inspector Jaishankar, staff-Munireddy, Choudappa and Chandra.
