<p>The High Court has directed Chief Secretary S V Ranganath to file a fresh petition in connection with the action taken by the Karnataka government to shift the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar and ensure hassle-free work of the ‘Namma Metro’.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Following a contempt petition filed by a City-based advocate A V Amarnathan, stating that the High Court order has not been implemented, the Chief Secretary had filed an affidavit, contending that the petition is liable to be dismissed.<br /><br />However, the Division Bench headed by Justice N K Patil, which heard the matter, on Monday directed the CS to file a fresh affidavit within two days and adjourned the matter.</p>
