AI to restore air link from Bangalore to Agatti

 Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India (AI), is all set to reconnect Bangalore with the island tourist destination, Agatti (via Kochi), with a twin-engined ATR turbo-prop aircraft from March 15.

 “The new flight (CD 9501) will operate on all the days of the week except Sundays and will leave Bangalore at 8.30 am. It will reach Kochi at 9.50 am, leave Kochi at 10.20 am to arrive at Agatti at 11.40 am,” senior manager (Corporate Communications) of Air India, said in a press release.

On its return journey, flight CD 9502 will depart Agatti at 12 noon to reach Kochi at 1.20 pm. It will leave Kochi at 1.50 pm and reach Bangalore at 3.10 pm.

Further, with effect from the same date, Alliance Air will operate flights between Bangalore and Mangalore thrice a week. This flight (CD 9507) will leave Bangalore on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 4 pm to reach Mangalore at 5.20 pm.

The return flight (CD 9508) will leave Mangalore at 5.50 pm to reach Bangalore at 7.10 pm on these days.

Air India Express, another subsidiary of Air India, will also operate flights between Bangalore and Mangalore on four other days of the week. 

The flight (IX 805) will arrive in Bangalore from Mangalore on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 6.15 pm and the return flight (IX 508) will depart Bangalore for Mangalore at 7.15 pm on these days.
