Armed criminals loot gold, cash

Armed robbers allegedly looted jewellery and cash worth lakhs of rupees at Dadri area here on Saturday, police said.

The miscreants barged into the house of Singhraj and held his wife and niece hostages at gunpoint and locked them inside a room, they said. Later, the robbers fled with the booty. A case has been registered and probes are on, police added.

Girl missing

A class XI student went missing for the past two days from sector 70 here, police said on Saturday.

According to the complaint lodged by the boy’s parents, Sunder Yadav had gone to meet his friends two days ago and was missing since then, they said. A hunt has been launched to trace the boy while the further probes are on
