Though the elected representatives built a Primary Health Centre in the region, the veterinary centre adjacent to the PHC in a dilapidated state failed to attract their attention. Elected representatives are not paying any attention towards repairing the same as they probably feel that the centre is of little importance.

The present veterinary centre building was built about 20 years ago and since the walls are built using mud, it has cracked and is on verge of collapse. The condition of the ceiling is worse. The ceiling has not been repaired since the inauguration of the building. The wooden logs laid on the ceiling to place the tiles have eaten by termite.

The employees in the centre spend most of their time placing buckets under the leaking roof to collect water during rainy season. The centre has good collection of buckets, tumbler and containers. The building does not have seating for doctors and employees, let alone the people coming her to get their pets treated. Open backyard is all what the employees working here have for a toilet.
