<p>Sri Ram Sene leader Pramod Mutalik, on Friday, said he has decided to take a plunge into politics and is aspiring to contest the upcoming Assembly elections as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from one of the constituencies in Belgaum district.<br /><br /></p>.<p>He said he has already communicated his wish to the BJP. However, the party has not given any assurance to him.<br /><br />He has not approached any other party. If the BJP refuses to give ticket, he would contest the election as an Independent candidate.<br /><br />The constituency will be finalised soon after conducting a survey of four to five constituencies in the district, he added.<br /><br /></p>
