Besides Bindra, who will be the first torch-bearer among athletes, others participating are Olympic bronze medallists Vijender Singh and Sushil Kumar, Milkha Singh, Gurbachan Singh Randhawa, Prakash Padukone, Kapil Dev, Karnam Malleswari, Sania Mirza, Misha Grewal and Dilip Tirkey. Ten Indian Olympic Association officials and 15 other ‘workforce’ will accompany the athletes, making the total Indian contingent 36.
