<p>Prajwal’s much-hyped film Ziddi has released and the actor says that his character in the film was a ‘dream role’. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The crux of the story revolves around how an ordinary, sober man is forced by circumstances to turn violent just to survive. <br /><br />The film, a remake of Malayalam film Puthiya Mukham, has been tweaked to suit the local tastes. <br /><br />“I have to portray a range of emotions and that’s a challenge in itself. But I really like the way a calm man is forced to change his character just to defend his right to live. These are strong, contrasting roles,” Prajwal tells Metrolife.<br /><br />Prajwal feels the character has given him enough scope to explore a range of emotions. <br /><br />“There are very intense scenes in the film since the same man does two contrasting characters. Harassment from unwanted elements turns a soft-hearted guy into a tough man and it was a challenge for me to make the same guy appear soft and tough,” explains Prajwal. <br /><br />Prajwal’s looks too change along with his character. In the first half of the film, he is clean shaven with short hair and in the second part, he wears a more rugged look.<br /><br /> “I have watched the original and I really liked the way actor Prithviraj has worked around the role. I also had to build my body and my strength for the fight scenes in the movie,” explains Prajwal.<br /><br />Prajwal caught the first day, first show of the movie at popular theatre in the City and was thrilled to see people hooting and cheering during every scene. <br /><br />“There has been a tremendous response from the people and the show opened to a full house. That also made the producer safe,” he shares. <br /><br />Aindrita and Prajwal were last seen together in Nannavanu and he admits that both of them were looking forward to working together again. <br /><br />“Aindrita and I meet outside quite often but it had been a long time since we met on the sets and worked together. We’re both thrilled about the response to the film,” Prajwal signs off. <br /></p>
