JOIN USA software professional from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh has reportedly gone missing in Chicago.
The family members of P Venkata Sarath Kumar (35), a TCS employee who was on a company project in Chicago, was informed that he had been missing since Sunday.
Sarath was returning from Niagra Falls along with his cousin P Srinivasu’s family on that fateful day. They, however, did not read much into the sudden disappearance, thinking that Sarath might have missed the cab. Thirty hours on, they are yet to hear from Sarath.
Sarath’s father Potharaju Krishnamurthy said he was apprised of the developments by a relative. “Sarath went missing from Washington around 4:45 pm on Sunday after missing a tourist cab.” Krishnamurthy has lodged a compliant with Guntur police on Tuesday.
Krishnamurthy said his son reached Washington DC on Friday and set out for a weekend trip to Niagara Falls on Saturday, accompanied by his cousin’s family. Sarath has been in the US for seven years.
