Concrete works: Public support sought for successful completion

Offering puja before the commencement of the road concrete works from Madikeri private bus stand to Major Mangerira circle, on Monday, Bopaiah said that the arrangements will be inconvenient for the general public for some time but they will have to put up with it for a while. “There are separate class of people who keep criticising everything and anything because that is their job. Our’s is pro-people administration and all the steps are taken by the Government keeping people in mind,” he said.

He said that a total of Rs 5 crore has been released to the district under CM’s Special Package and it is all set to release another Rs 5 crore for PWD soon. MLA Appachuranjan Town Municipal Council President P D Ponnappa and others were present.
