<p>The health officers of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike have imposed a penalty of Rs 10,000 on Medi CT Scan and Diagnostics near Malleswaram Grounds on Margosa Road for not disposing of biomedical waste scientifically. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The diagnostic centre allegedly disposed of waste like ordinary garbage. Palike officials said pourakarmikas as well as the local residents had complained about the unscientific disposal of biomedical waste.</p>
