Telgi, the kingpin of multi-crore fake stamp paper racket is lodged at the Parappana Agrahara jail. He had sought permission for homemade food in prison on health grounds. A special court rejected his plea in August 2008 and Telgi had appealed against the order in High Court.
Justice Arali Nagaraj, dismissing the petition said Telgi had not suffered any inconvenience with the food being provided by jail authorities at present. The HC directed the jail authorities to continue providing him with the diet food recommended by the medical officer.
