CM denies dissidence in party

Talking to reporters at the helipad here, the CM claimed there was no dissidence in the party.

Asked why permission is denied for Reddy brothers to construct 10,000 houses in Bellary district at a cost of Rs 500 crore, Yeddyurappa, without taking their names, said the ministerial colleagues had resolved to build one lakh houses in 15 districts.

On Revenue Minister B Karunakara Reddy skipping Tuesday’s meeting held to discuss rehabilitation of flood victims, the CM only said Reddy would attend all the meetings in future.

On unscheduled load shedding in the last ten days, Yeddyurappa said three units at RTPC had to be shut for repairs. The situation was likely to return to normal in the next couple of days.
