Aditya Sagar claims a five-for as Swastic Union bag innings honours

 Centuries from R Samarth and Shreyas Gopal and good bowling from Aditya B Sagar helped Swastic Union Cricket Club I come away with three points on account of first innings lead against Bangalore Cricketers in the KSCA Group I, Division I tournament for the Sir Mirza Ismail Shield here.

Batting first, Swastic Union, in their first innings, were all out for 394 in 78 overs with Samarth’s 135 and Gopal’s 105 being the highlights. In reply, Bangalore Cricketers were bowled out for 110 in 55.4 overs handing a 284-run first innings lead to Swastic Union. Sagar picked up 5/42 and Udit Patel scalped 2/15 for Swastic Union.

Following on, Bangalore Cricketers were restricted to 126/6 in 56 overs and had to be content with one point.
