Shettar meets Suttur seer

Shettar told reporters after the meeting that no significance should be attached to his meeting with the seer. Since he was in Mysore for the wedding of a BJP legislator’s son he met the pontiff. On the latest political developments in the State, he declined to comment since he holds a position which does not permit to discuss politics in
public.

Replying to a query on pressure from the BJP legislators to succeed Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, Shettar smiled and said “I leave everything to God”. However, he volunteered to add, “wait and watch.” He denied that he had met the governor and tendered resignation.
