The summer collection by Yishion is all about being trendy and fashionable. Varying from skirts to dresses, denims and shirts, there’s something for everyone young at heart at this brand.

Bangaloreans are trying to dress their best and Yishion’s summer collection comes right in time. A newly-launched brand, Yishion — that originally hails from Hong Kong — caters to people who are experimental and open-minded. The collection is all about bright colours, both for men and women.

With T-shirts in shades of red, pink, turquoise and white, as well as shorts and trousers, men are spoilt for choice. “The summer collection’s theme is particularly yellow and green. Even our mannequins sport the loudest looks, so that they attract attention. The brand and the collection are about feeling and looking cool,” comments Vinod Lunked, franchise head.

With different styles and cuts in ‘braces skirts’, long dresses, shirts, jumpsuits,
leggings and bright patterned scarfs, the store has a lot to offer for women. In fact, the outfits are spread across two floors. “Unlike most stores which have four seasons, we have up to eight and since the crowd here is very fashion-oriented, Yishion has something for all. This collection is high fashion and based on the theme of ‘Fun in the Sun’ , with cool African and organic cotton as well as vibrant colours,” details Vinod. Sparkles and sequins are seen a lot on most designs in this collection.

The outfits for women also have a lot of lace detailing. “Lace, which was considered old-fashioned, is now added to denim to showcase contemporary styles that suit the needs of the youth in Bangalore,” says Vinod.

For any brand to crack a market, the location is a big factor. Vinod vouches that thanks to Yishion’s location on Brigade Road, the response has been great. “Our target audience is youngsters from 14 to 29 years of age. Brigade Road, being one of the most happening places in the City, has helped a lot in making the brand popular,” he says.

The details in each outfit Yishion offers makes up for the fact that at the moment, they don’t have accessories to complement the looks. Vinod points out, “Accessories go with the different looks created. With the next collection, we plan to launch a lot of accessories like belts, hats, jewellery and so on.

There will be an array of items to select from.”

Bringing in fashion from China, which claims to be one of the top in the apparel-making industry, Vinod says that the brand is bound to leave an impression on Bangalore. “This brand is about new cuts, patterns, styles that are comfortable and stylish, that make the person wearing them stand out and look fashionable,” sums up Vinod.
