Champions Churchill Brothers routed Air India FC 3-0 to conclude their victorious I-League campiagn on a high here on Sunday.
Goals from Bineesh Balan (38th), Jaison Vales (89th) and H Antouchet (90+3) helped Churchill register an easy win.
East Bengal ended their campaign on a miserable note, going down to Shillong Lajong FC by a solitary goal in Kolkata.
Japanese forward Taisuke Matsugae struck in the eighth minute for Shillong. East Bengal finished third while Lajong (28) ended their campaign at the 11th spot.
In Vasco, Anthony Pereira’s late goal helped Dempo edge past Salgaocar 2-1 to finish fifth while Salgaocar (33) ended seventh. Salgaocar took the lead in the 15th minute through Gabriel Obatola. Dempo restored parity five minutes later through Ryuji Sueoka. The match was headed for a draw before Pereira struck for Dempo in the 90th minute.
