Actor Srinagara Kitty is pretty excited about his upcoming film ‘Tony’, which is slated for release in the second week of June.

Recently spotted at an event in the City, he was all praises about the soundtrack of the film. He urged his fans to listen to the songs.

He spoke to Metrolife about his lifestyle and work. “I am a fitness freak. Energy and fitness are two things that people require all the time. And as an actor, we need to be fit during shoots,” says Kitty, whose mantra is to drink a lot of water and work out for at least 45 minutes a day.

About trying his hand in politics, he says that he does not want to be part of it. “I don’t have the knack for politics. Today, when people see a politician they say that he is an actor. I don’t like that and don’t want to be a part of that. I am pretty content with what I am doing and will continue to do that. One needs a lot of dedication to serve people and I don’t think I am cut out for that,” he adds.

The actor loves experimenting and is open to challenging roles and pushing his limits. “I started my career with an experiment and since then have always been on the look out for roles which give me that opportunity. I love fresh challenges and the character of Rajeev in one of my early films is very close to my heart,” he notes.

Ask him about accepting offers from Bollywood and pat comes the reply, “Why not? If I get a good opportunity and a great role, I would not mind accepting offers in different languages. When it comes to acting, language is not a barrier for me. If there is a script that interests me, I would definitely like to go for it.”

The actor says that he is ready to try his hand at different kinds of movies. He has firm belief in the kind of roles and films that he does. “More people should watch Kannada cinema so as to encourage artistes like us. The kind of films that we are doing now is different as well as entertaining,” says Kitty, who was last seen in Simple Aag Ondhu Love Story. Eagerly awaiting for the release of ‘Tony’, Kitty says that he is also busy with other projects. “I am also a part of Bahu Parak and am pretty excited about my upcoming projects,” he signs off.
