Candidates who appeared for the practical test (for UG programme) at five agricultural universities in the State on May 10 are instructed to produce relevant original certificates in the proforma given in the CET brochure (on page numbers 18 and 19) to the registrars of the respective universities where they appeared for the test by May 25, either by post or in person.

According to a release by the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore, failure of any candidate to produce the relevant certificates will make them ineligible for allotment of seats under the quota for agriculturists.

The students were allowed to appear for the test on May 10, though they could not produce the relevant certificates to claim eligibility under the quota.

This was done on the consideration by the farm universities that government officials were busy with election duty and so the candidates could not obtain the necessary certificates, the release said.
