<p>A Fast Track Court in the City has awarded seven-year rigorous imprisonment for a man convicted for kidnapping and raping a minor girl. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Vidyaranyapura police had filed a charge sheet against Arun Kumar accusing him of kidnapping and exploiting the girl sexually. The 11th Fast Track Court, apart from the the imprisonment, has imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on Kumar.<br /><br />In August 2011, Kumar had kidnapped the 15-year-old girl, made her forcibly accompany him to Hassan, Shimoga and other places and sexually exploited her. <br /><br />The court also awarded a compensation of Rs 50,000 to the family of the victim.<br /></p>
