<p>Get ready for a week of breathtaking performances by the finest performing artistes of the country. After their felicitation by the President of India yesterday, at least 30 recipients of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards 2012, will now be rendering their art in the Capital. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Starting today, they will perform in three different venues in the city till June 7. <br /><br />The Sangeet Natak Akademi awards are the most prestigious national honours bestowed by the Republic of India on performing artists, teachers and scholars in the field of performing arts. Last year, three artistes were chosen for the rare Fellowships (Akademi Ratna) - violinist N Rajam, percussionist TH Vikku Vinayakram and theatre director Ratan Thiyam.
