They alleged that in direct violation of the Constitutional Rights, separate gruel centres are put up for the members of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the flood affected districts.
Staging a protest near the Town Circle and raising slogans against the State government, the members demanded that the Government officials in charge of the gruel centres should be immediately suspended.
They also urged that a case should be booked against the culprits who attacked Dalit leader O C Krishnappa.
Madiga Dandora State unit president Pavagad Sriram, district president C S Manjunath, leaders Kemparaju, Chelur Shivananjaiah and several other leaders took part in the protest.
