Here, police need protection

The area is totally deprived of any basic amenities where a team of 26 police personnel keep a round-the-clock vigil.

The police camp does not have even electricity. They experience a lot of difficulty in the night hours.
The personnel of Anti Naxal Force deputed at Jayapura, Sringeri and other towns, get double of the salary of these people.

The Department should think of providing more facilities to the Reserve Police who protect the areas like Heggar Kudige, the villagers observed.
