When the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) were announced on Tuesday, Pavan’s parents could not celebrate his remarkable achievement.
Pavan, who secured 9th rank in Medical and 34th rank in engineering, had died eight days before the results were announced.
Pavan, a student of Nutan PU college in the city, had drowned in the TV Station Lake, when he went there to swim along with his friends on May 20.
His father is an engineer and mother a teacher. They are residents of MCC Block.
