The CM’s decision has raised many eye brows in political circles as the Muzrai is considered a jinxed department. It is strongly believed, at least by politicians, that those who become Muzrai minister will not remain in power for long and his/her political career would come to an end.
Acharya, who is in Delhi, was informed about the development around 4.30 pm.
There were speculations that if Jagadish Shettar softens his stand, then he may become Home Minister. But Shettar has been saying that he will not join the Cabinet.
