A woman’s decision to marry a member of another caste led her parents and brother to take their own lives on Friday night at Maralagodu near Tumari in Sagar taluk.
The deceased have been identified as Padmaiah Jain (55), Kantamma (48), and their son Rajendra (26). Sources said that they ended their lives after their daughter married a boy from another community, despite their protests. A case has been registered.
